I can’t speak for everyone, but the worst things I’ve ever endured in life have happened because of people. The worst things I’ve seen happen to anyone happen because of people, whereas I only associate pureness of intent and loveliness with animals. So why on earth would I support the torture and unnecessary unwilling death of them? Sometimes people are so ignorant it hurts my head.
